１月２８日 ブログでもお伝えしていた、やさい・くだもの・花フェスタに行ってまいりました。
注目したのは、園芸品展示品評会での受賞者・会場装飾(花アレンジ)・花いけバトルでした。
I (Okamoto) went to "Vegetable + Fruit + Flower Festival" which I wrote about in the blog on January 28th. I was looking forward to seeing 3 things the most; the prize winners of horticulture products' exhibition, flower arrangements of the hall, and "Hanaike Battle".
まずは、花いけバトルです。今年は、「土佐の花いけラストサムライ」こと西村さんの優勝で幕を閉じた花いけバトル。ちなみに、「６月のゆりの展示会」のデザイナー橋田さん(tomoni flower)も準優勝でした。
いずれのバトルもすばらしかったのですが、どちらが勝つのかは開票されるまで予測不能でした。
ユリがけっこうな頻度で使われておりましたので、紹介してみたいと思います。First of all, I'd like to introduce "Hanaike Battle". This is a competition of flower arrangement designers' making their flower arts without preparation on the stage in 5 minutes. The champion was Mr. Nishimura known as "Last Samurai of Kochi's flower arrangement". Mr. Hashida who did the total designer of our "Lily Fair June 2017" was also played, and won the 2nd prize.
Every battle was fantastic and difficult to judge the winner. Lilies were often used, so I'd like to show you the photos a bit.

唯一の切り花として中央部分にいけられたテッポウユリ。
The lily in the middle was the only flower
which was used in this Mr. Hashida's art.
立てられた竹にいけられたテッポウユリ。

中央にちょこっとピンクのオリエンタル。オカモトはこの作品が一番良いと思ったのですが、このバトルでは負けてしまいます。
There is a pink Oriental in the middle. Okamoto thought that this was the best one in the whole battles, but it lost in this match.
惜しくもグデッとなってしまったカサブランカ、時間切れのためこれにて完成となってしまっておりました。
よくご覧ください、これだけ傾いているというのに、茎は曲がっておりません。
Because of running out of time, the Casa Blanca was left laid. However, you have to notice that the stem is still strong and straight even though it's lying like this.

どうだったでしょう？
各バトルでどちらかのバトラーが使っていたのではないかという頻度だったと思います。
そしてユリは、全作品において必ずアクセントやポイントとなる部分に使われていたような気がしました。
How are they?
Lilies were used somewhere in every battle, and it seemed that the designers used lilies to make accents in their arts.
エントランス部分は、今回バトルにも参戦していた、tomoni flower橋田さんのデザインだそうです。
６月のゆりの展示会に来られた方は、気づかれたのではないでしょうか??? このテイストにしっかりユリも溶け込んでおります。
The entrance of the hall was designed by Mr. Hashida from a flower shop "tomoni flower" who played in "Hanaike Battale".
Maybe people who visited our "Lily Fair June" noticed that this was Mr. Hashida's design. You can find lilies here, too.
そして、品評会です。
こちらも、バトル同様いずれの品物もすばらしく甲乙つけがたいものばかりだったと思います。
中村農園のお客様が多数入選されておりうれしく思いました。本当におめでとうございます。
And the exhibition.
Here, as well as the battle, there were many beautiful products which were difficult to say which were better.
I was so happy to see that many of our customers won prizes. Congratulations!
