弊社が続けてきた高知市への球根寄贈に対し、高知市公園愛護会連合会の皆さまに感謝状をいただきました。
We received a letter of appreciation from the Society of park keeping of Kochi City for our donation of flower bulbs to them.

こちらこそ、公園愛護会の皆さまに、球根達がお世話になっておりますとお伝えしたいくらいです。
一年中、高知市内の公園や街頭の花壇は手入れされておりますが、ゆりは6月頃に見られます。
We also like to say thank you to the people who taking care of the parks for using our bulbs.
The flowerbeds in parks and road-sides in Kochi City are done whole year, and lilies can be seen around June.

高知県産地流通支援課の皆さんの企画により“高知の花deアレンジライブ”と題して、フランス在住のフラワーアーティスト佐伯美奈さんによるフラワーアレンジライブが開催されました。
There was a flower arrangement lecture by Ms.Mina Saeki who is a flower artist from France arranged by Kochi Prefecture.
夏らしくひまわりと黄色いグロリオサ、ゆり、ブルースター。高知の花がテーマということでしたので、しっかり押さえていただいております。
Sunflowers, yellow gloriosas, lilies, and "Bluestar". The theme was "Kochi's flowers", so many Kochi flowers are used in these.

上のゆりとゆり自体は同じですが葉物が追加され、ゴージャスになっております。茎を見せないのがフランス流!?

フラワーアレンジに野菜、底知れぬ遊び心を感じます。
Gloriosas and vegetables. If you expand the photo, you can see eggplants, green peppers, okras, and cucumbers.

ブルースター、トルコ、アジサイ？ 器が見えません。緑の使い方がステキ。

今回感じた事は、やはり、作品がすばらしいのは当然なのです。
The thing I felt was that the arrangements are of course beautiful.
大事なのは、アレンジの様子が見られるということだったと思います。
どういう風な準備がされていて、どのくらいの時間をかけて、どんなお話しをされて、どういう手順でアレンジされていくのか、生でしかわからない途中経過など、現場でしか得られないものは多かったはずです。
But more interesting thing is to see how they are made. What the artist prepared first, how long time it took, what the artist talked about while making, how the arts are built up, and so on. I imagine that there were many things which could only be felt at the site.
私は、業務の都合で見られませんでしたが、惜しいことをしたという気持ちでいっぱいです。
本当に、ステキな企画だと思いますので、またこういった企画を開催していただきたいと思います。
I couldn't join this time, and I wish I could have.
Hope to go to such an interesting event next time.
