台風11号が過ぎましたが、なかなか晴れの日がありません。定植初期にはあまり影響はありませんが今後の天気が心配です。

We
had only little sunny time so far even though the typhoon has gone. There is not much influence to the primary
growth at this point, but we are worried about the climate from now.
さて14NL酷暑試験の最新状況を報告させていただきます。
Here I report the latest news
of the heat resistance test crop 2014NL.
定植から9日が過ぎ、多くの品種が早くも30cm以上伸びています。このペースでいけばあと3週間も
すればリン付がわかると思われます。
9 days have passed since planting, and many
varieties have already grown over 30 cm.
We estimate that we can see the bud counts in 3 weeks if the growing
keeps going at this pace.

今回は数品種で特質別(LFなど)の試験を行っていますが、現時点で丈の長さの違いがはっきりと現れている品種もあります。今後の生育の違いが楽しみです。
This time we are testing different conditions (ex. French bulbs) of the same varieties. There are some varieties that show the length difference clearly already. We can’t wait to see the growth results of each condition from now.
同じ品種ですが写真奥と手前の丈の長さがはっきりと違います!!

photo blow. You can see the sprout
height before planting of each variety in this list. We would be glad if you can visit our green
house to check it. If you are interested
in the test but cannot visit us in Kochi, please let us know.
