さて本日7月15日、14NL産酷暑試験の定植をしました。
品目数はOR・OTあわせて79品目です。
Today (July15th) we planted bulbs for the heat resistance test of crop 2014NL.
We'll do 79 items of Oriental and OT hybrids in this test.
今回はヒートポンプによる夜間冷房はかけずに、酷暑試験のみを行います。ですが、品種や特質別(LFなど)の生育をしっかり見ていきます。今からどういう違いが出てくるのかとわくわくしています。
This time we'll see only the heat resistance, not the effect of night cooling.
Of course we'll check the differences of growth in each variety or condition carefully as usual.
We are excited to see the results.
7月14日には芽の高さや上根の張り具合も調べました。
Yesterday (July14th), we checked the sprout height and spread of upper roots.
解凍は13℃で5日間、ルーティングは13℃で14日間です。品種によってはルーティングストッカーが必要な品種もこの測定でわかります。また上根の張り具合も確認しました。
Defrosting was done in 13 degrees Celsius for 5 days, and then 14 days of pre-rooting in the same temperature. We could know which varieties need rooting stockers in this process.
品種によってはルーティングストッカーがないと上のケースにあたりますね…
The sprouts cannot grow enough without rooting stockers depends on varieties.
