アジアティックとＬＡ，鉄砲の開花状況や、頂点咲、奇形花の発生率など興味深く視察されました。また、オリエンタル・ＯＴ品種では枝振りや草丈、茎の硬さに注目されていました。
新たな発見や、栽培方法などの意見交換をさせて頂き、大変勉強になりました。

処暑
この数日間は夜間の温度が少し下がる日も出て来ましたが、残暑は厳しくハウス内も日中は35℃位まで上昇します。

ご来場大歓迎！
連日、厳しい暑さが続いております。弊社の酷暑試作もいよいよ終盤に差し掛かり、水分補給をしながら、ハウス内でデータ採取を続けております。
It is still hot every day in Kochi and the heat resistant test, close to the end.
試作の状況を熱心にご覧になり、来年の作付け計画のご参考とされていました。また、ケース氏は高知県内の圃場視察し、高温期の鉄砲栽培について生産者と意見交換されていました。
弊社試験農場では、皆様のご来場お待ちしております。

August-22 We welcome many guests.
Yesterday, a grower from Tosa city area (Kochi) and Mr.Kees Steenvooden(The Netherlands) came to our test-greenhouse.
The saw our test situation and considered as reference of the next years trial production. Mr.Steenvooden visited some grower’s fields in Kochi area. He exchanged opinions about high temperature phase performing Longi-florum with the growers.

改良型ミスト
試験ハウスでは、これまでに使用していたタイプに比べてより細かな粒子を噴霧する新たなミストを設置し、試験しています。
粒子が細かくなったことで気化しやすく冷却効果も向上し、花にも付着しにくくなりました。噴霧の間隔などを調整し、最適なミストの設定データも採取しています。
August-20 Improved mist water
We installed an improved mist water which makes water of finer particles compared to before our test-greenhouse. Fine particles make evaporation and cooling effects bigger, and mist water does not easily attach on flower.
We continue taking data of mist water time and setting from now on.

アジアテック・LA品種はルーティングの有無を並べて定植し、品質の違いをご覧頂けます。9月上旬頃まで順次開花していきます。
オリエンタル品種はほとんどの品種で分枝が始まり、品質や切り前の状態などがご覧頂けます。開花期間は8月下旬～9月下旬頃までとなっております。

We do comparative tests of growing with rooting process before planting and with no rooting for Asiatic and LA-hybrid. You can see the flowers till the early September.
Oriental-hybrid growth situation is on blanching for most varieties, and you can check quality and cut timing. You can see the flowers from the late-August to the late September.

酷暑試験定植開始
10-July Started plating bulbs for the heat resistant trial
6月26日から２週間107品目の球根をルーティング（芽出し）しています。本日は芽の高さを計測した後、38品目を定植しました。ハウス内は寒冷紗で遮光しミスト冷却した状態で、日中の最高気温33℃、地温25℃のコンディションでした。残りの69品目は一定以上の芽の高さを確認後、順次定植します。
“Pre-rooting treatment” was carried out for 2weeks from 26-Jun to 107 varieties. We planted 38 varieties bulbs from them. Moreover, we are shading and doing mist cooling, in order to lower the temperature in test-greenhouse. The result was 33 degree maximum temperature in day and 25degree soil temperature in the greenhouse condition. We will plant the remaining bulbs after measuring sprout heights.
今年の酷暑試験は、昨年の酷暑試験や抑制試験の結果から、夏場の栽培に適した品種や、栽培方法をさらに模索します。
みなさまのお役に立つ試験となるよう、ハウスチーム一丸となって夏場のハウス作業をこなしていきます。
This test program is performing the test last year and the old track record on the basis.
We’ll do our best in this test to make it more interesting and helpful for you.

ルーティング開始
昨年はオリエンタルとOTの試作でしたが、今年はさらにアジアティック、LA、鉄砲の品種も加えて全107品目の試験栽培です。また、一部の品種はルーティングの有無を同時に定植し、比較を行います。
開花予定は8月中旬から9月中旬となっております。

26-June We started “Pre-rooting treatment”
Heat resistant trial was started in our test-greenhouse. The schedule of planting is after the middle of July.
Last year we tested only Orientals and OT-hybrids, Asiatic and LA-hybrids and Longi-florum are added and 107 items will be examined this year. Moreover, we will do comparative tests of growing with rooting process before planting and with no rooting for some varieties.
The bloom season will be from the middle of August to the middle of September.
