14NL酷暑試験 定植から9日目 Crop 14NL Heat Resistance Test 9 days from planting

お世話になっております。試験ハウス担当の大西です。
台風11号が過ぎましたが、なかなか晴れの日がありません。定植初期にはあまり影響はありませんが今後の天気が心配です。

Thank you for your usual cooperation.  This is Onishi from the test green house.

We had only little sunny time so far even though the typhoon has gone.  There is not much influence to the primary growth at this point, but we are worried about the climate from now.

さて14NL酷暑試験の最新状況を報告させていただきます。

Here I report the latest news of the heat resistance test crop 2014NL.

定植から9日が過ぎ、多くの品種が早くも30cm以上伸びています。このペースでいけばあと3週間も
すればリン付がわかると思われます。

 9 days have passed since planting, and many varieties have already grown over 30 cm.  We estimate that we can see the bud counts in 3 weeks if the growing keeps going at this pace.  

2015年7月23日 生育状況

July23th, 2015

今回は数品種で特質別(LFなど)の試験を行っていますが、現時点で丈の長さの違いがはっきりと現れている品種もあります。今後の生育の違いが楽しみです。
 This time we are testing different conditions (ex. French bulbs) of the same varieties.  There are some varieties that show the length difference clearly already.  We can’t wait to see the growth results of each condition from now.

同じ品種ですが写真奥と手前の丈の長さがはっきりと違います!!

また品種リストもご用意しております。このリストには各品目の定植前の芽の高さデータを載せております。お忙しい時期ではありますが、お時間があればぜひお越しください。また遠方で弊社には足を運べないが、酷暑試験にご興味がある方は各営業または試験ハウス担当までご連絡ください。

 We made the list of test varieties as the photo blow.  You can see the sprout height before planting of each variety in this list.  We would be glad if you can visit our green house to check it.  If you are interested in the test but cannot visit us in Kochi, please let us know.

14NL産酷暑試験定植しました!! Planting for Heat Resistance Test

台風が接近しており、心中穏やかではない試験ハウス担当の大西です。
Today's writer is Onishi with nervous mind for the typhoon coming.


さて本日7月15日、14NL産酷暑試験の定植をしました。
品目数はOR・OTあわせて79品目です。
Today (July15th) we planted bulbs for the heat resistance test of crop 2014NL.
We'll do 79 items of Oriental and OT hybrids in this test.


今回はヒートポンプによる夜間冷房はかけずに、酷暑試験のみを行います。ですが、品種や特質別(LFなど)の生育をしっかり見ていきます。今からどういう違いが出てくるのかとわくわくしています。
This time we'll see only the heat resistance, not the effect of night cooling.
Of course we'll check the differences of growth in each variety or condition carefully as usual.
We are excited to see the results.


7月14日には芽の高さや上根の張り具合も調べました。
Yesterday (July14th), we checked the sprout height and spread of upper roots.

解凍は13℃で5日間、ルーティングは13℃で14日間です。品種によってはルーティングストッカーが必要な品種もこの測定でわかります。また上根の張り具合も確認しました。
Defrosting was done in 13 degrees Celsius for 5 days, and then 14 days of pre-rooting in the same temperature.  We could know which varieties need rooting stockers in this process.

品種によってはルーティングストッカーがないと上のケースにあたりますね…

The sprouts cannot grow enough without rooting stockers depends on varieties.

定植に関しても午前中に素早く定植。先輩方も手伝ってくれました。ありがとうございます!!
Today's planting was finished very smoothly in the morning with other staff's help.

酷暑試験 定植の準備をしています Preparation for Heat Resistance Test

今日も高知市は朝から雨です。
今　試験ハウスでは、これから始まる酷暑試験の定植準備をすすめています。

Today's weather in Kochi City is rainy from morning as usual.
We are now preparing for planting of this year's heat resistance test at the test green house.


前作の撤去作業と同時に、本日は定植するサンプル球根のルーティング作業を行いました。

As well as cleaning up of the previous test,
today we did the rooting of sample bulbs.

皆様にとって有益な試験データを　少しでも多くとれるよう、今年もがんばります！

生育が始まりましたら、是非試験ハウスにもお越しいただき、様子をご覧いただけたらと思います。

We hope that there will be many results which are useful for our customers' work from this year's test.

社屋前の花壇にひまわりの種を植えました。

雨の恵みを受け、ぐんぐん成長中です。　

社員みんな、小学生時代を思い出しながら、花が咲くのを楽しみに待っているところです。

We planted seeds of sunflower and they are growing so quickly with blessing of rain.

All the staffs are looking forward to seeing the flowers bloom...
