お盆が過ぎても厳しい暑さが続いておりますが、皆様お元気でがんばっておられることと存じます。
試験ハウスは夜間冷房をかけている区間(以下3号室)とそうでない区間(以下2号室)でさまざまな違いが出てきています。今回は平均“地”温の違いについてご紹介します。
3号室の地温は、25.7℃前後でほぼ一定となっています。一方、2号室は7月中旬では27.4℃、8月中旬では28.8℃と気温の上昇にともない徐々に上がってきています。8月20日現在ではその差は2.8℃!!(夜間冷房時間は、19:00～07:00です。酷暑試験内容は先月のスマイル通信とあわせてご覧ください。)

It begins to appear various differences
between test-greenhouse of air conditioning (following Room 3) at night and
normal test-greenhouse (following Room 2.)
We show about difference in the average
soil temperature in this time.
The soil temperature of Room 3 is
regularity mostly about 25.7 degree Celsius. In the other side, the soil
temperature of Room 2 was 27.4 degree Celsius at the middle of July. Along with
the rise of air temperature, it goes up gradually and it is 28.8 degree Celsius
at the middle of August. The difference of each soil temperature is 2.8
degree!! (It should be the influence from the air conditioning that working
from 7 PM to 7 Am.)

this test going on sometimes on the web-site.
